Children's Play Areas

The Town Council provides and maintains three children’s play areas within West Bedlington at Meadowdale, 20 Acres (Church Lane) and Westlea.

Westlea and 20 Acres play areas are unlocked and available for use at all times. Meadowdale play area has locked gates to prevent unwanted vandalism and anti-social behaviour. The gates are open from 8am to 6pm during the summer months and daylight hours during the winter months. If you find the gates locked when a play park should be open, please contact us for further information.

All of our play areas undergo a weekly safety inspection with repairs and replacements undertaken as soon as possible. If you find the equipment in an unsafe state or something needs repairing or replacing, please contact us
