Meeting cancelled

Apologies for the short notice, but West Bedlington Town Council’s meeting tonight has been cancelled due to not meeting the quorum. 

A parish or town council quorum is the minimum number of councillors required for a meeting to legally conduct business, typically one third of the council members or at least three, whichever is greater.

Importantly, the Annual Meeting of the Town, which is scheduled for 7pm tonight (9th April 2026), will still be going ahead, so if you were planning on coming, please still do.
