New bus-shelter artwork
West Bedlington Town Council has refreshed eight bus shelters in the town with gorgeous poems and drawings from pupils at our four fabulous primary schools. We gave the children free rein to sketch or write about whatever they loved about Bedlington, and the work we got back was delightful to see.
As always, the collaboration and support from St Bede’s Primary School, Meadowdale Primary Academy, West End Primary School and Whitley Memorial C of E Primary School was outstanding. As well as a big thanks to the teachers and staff for making this project possible, we would also like to thank the children for sharing their creative ideas to really bring the theme to life.
So, whether you’re waiting for a bus in Bedlington this spring, or just passing by, we hope the new artwork brightens your day.
