We’re really digging our winners’ gardens

We absolutely loved seeing all of your gorgeous gardens this summer, so thank you to everyone who went to the time and effort to apply, and congratulations to our green-fingered residents who won this year’s gardening competition. 

Back in July, a team of local gardeners and councillors judged West Bedlington Town Council’s 2025 gardening competition entries based on the condition of their plants, variety of colour and interest, special features, and overall visual impact.

It was a close one, but Pauline Baker’s garden was awarded first place, then in joint second place was Gill Glass and Deborah Watson, and in third place, was Gary Dixon’s garden. We were delighted to award all four winners with their prizes at a small celebration event before our Town Council meeting on 11th September at Bedlington Community Centre.
